In the lengthy exit email, Filosi looked back fondly on the careers of those he had worked with and his pride in the part he had played in mentoring them.

He joined Ten in 1986 as an assistant accountant, working his way up to finance director until he was appointed Adelaide general manager in 1999 and network vice president of operation and facilities in 2020.

‘I have had an amazing time throughout my career at Network 10, with so many different and exciting positions, opportunities, responsibilities, achievements and both business and personal milestones along the way,’ he said.

Natasha and Chris are the latest in a string of major departures from Ten, following the exits of The Project hosts Carrie Bickmore, Lisa Wilkinson and Peter Helliar.

Brian Walshe appears in court on murder charges

The husband of mom Ana Walshe appeared in court via Zoom today for a brief status hearing ahead of his murder trial. 

Brian Walshe is to death, dismembering her body and disposing of it in a dumpster in January. 

Police have not been able to recover her remains – they say they were taken from the dumpster by trash services and before they could catch up to them. 

Walshe, 47, denies murder, and claims he doesn’t know what happened to his wife, who has not been seen alive since the early hours of January 1. 

Today, his attorneys complained that they are yet to receive any discovery from the state that would help them prepare a defense.  

Brian Walshe is accused of beating Ana to death, dismembering her body and disposing of it in a dumpster in January.

‘We’ve received very little discovery.We’ve received basically nothing. We haven’t even received the search warrants – the basic stuff we should have had immediately,’ Walshe’s lawyer Tracy Miner said. 

The judge ordered the state to ‘cooperate’ and turn over their evidence. 

The case has been continued until March 1st, when Walshe will return to court via Zoom again for a second status hearing. 

After that, the next step is a probable cause hearing, where it will be determined whether there is enough evidence against him to proceed to a murder trial.  

Prosecutors previously said Brian and Ana were headed for a divorce, but that Brian chose instead to kill her.

They pointed to a mountain of evidence including grim Google searches carried out on their son’s iPad that included research for disposing of a body and how long it takes for corpses to decompose.

Blood traces were found on items of Ana’s clothing that were discovered in a different dumpster, along with Brian’s DNA. 

Ana, who was a real estate agent, had built a $2million property portfolio before she died. 

She lived in Massachusetts with her husband and their kids, but traveled frequently to Washington DC for work.

Walshe is arrested for misleading police.A search warrant for the house is obtained, and police discover blood stains in the basement. They also found a knife with traces of blood on it.

A man faces up to 20 years in prison after more than $3 billion in stolen was found stashed in a popcorn tin at his home in what authorities call the second largest seizure of cryptocurrency.

James Zhong, 32, pleaded guilty on Friday to stealing the Bitcoin a decade ago from the illegal Silk Road marketplace, which the shut down in 2013.

‘James Zhong committed wire fraud over a decade ago when he stole approximately 50,000 Bitcoin from Silk Road,’ U.S. attorney Damian Williams said in a statement this week. 

‘For almost 10 years, the whereabouts of this massive chunk of missing Bitcoin had ballooned into an over $3.3 billion mystery. Thanks to state-of-the-art cryptocurrency tracing and good old-fashioned police work, law enforcement located and recovered this impressive cache of crime proceeds.’

Prosecutors said Zhong executed a scheme to defraud ‘Silk Road’ dark web marketplace. They said he made nine accounts September 2012 and would then flood the site with withdrawal requests, which tricked the site into giving him multiples of what he had deposited.

After doing this 140 times, he had withdrawn all of the site’s cryptocurrency holdings. He then transferred the Bitcoin into separate accounts to keep it from being detected.

‘Unfortunately, we cannot in good conscience host an organization founded and directed by Mr.West at our events.’
